Twin Engine - 14 Passengers - 140 MPH - 4000lbs External Lift
The Bell 412 offers increased lifting capacity, seating for up to 14 passengers, twin engines and four main rotor blades, providing a much quieter, smoother and significantly faster ride than the previous versions of the Bell Huey family.
Our Bell 412 mediums are equipped with BLR FastFin and strake modifications, increasing safety and performance, while netting a savings in customer expense.
In addition, Aurora Helicopters holds an extensive list of Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) for our Bell 412s, allowing for mission flexibility.
Our Bell 412 aircraft are equipped with an extensive list of capability-enhancing additions, including but not limited to:
FADEC Engine - 5 Passengers – 135 MPH – 3000lbs External Lift
The Airbus Helicopters AS350 B3 and B3e (now the H125) are growth versions of the As350 line, adding an additional 1000 lbs of lifting capability to the existing B2.
The B3e (H125) is the current production model, offering a FADEC (full authority digital engine control), which manages the engine’s power and fuel flows. The B3e (H125) features redundant dual hydraulic control systems, adding safety and increased internal load capacity to our operations.
Our AS350 B3 aircraft are equipped in a standard utility configuration with an extensive list of capability-enhancing additions, including but not limited to:
5 Passengers – 130 MPH – 2000lbs External Lift
The Airbus Helicopters AS350 B2/SD2 helicopters are the industry standard for the “intermediate” class. The power of this aircraft allows it to carry plenty of people, cargo AND fuel, providing excellent mission capability. The B2 has the original engine from Turbomeca in France. The SD2 has an “after-market” Honeywell engine providing North American support and service.
Featuring a similar airframe and type certificate as our AS350 B3 aircraft, our AS350 B2/SD2 aircraft are equipped in a standard utility configuration. Our B2/SD2 aircraft feature the same extensive list of capability-enhancing additions to allow for rapid aircraft substitution and flexibility with a cost-effective option when the enhanced lifting power of a B3/H125 is not required.
4 Passengers - 120 MPH - 1000lbs External Lift - Ultra-Quiet
The Airbus Helicopters EC120 (now known as the H120) is a highly engineered helicopter, with excellent speed, comfort and construction. With an enclosed fenestron, in place of a tail rotor, the aircraft is extremely quiet, while reducing the risk of tail-rotor hazards. Energy absorbing seat designs enhance safety for the crew and passengers. This five seat aircraft offers fantastic visibility for all, with raised “theatre” seating in the rear. A large cargo hold, rivet-less composite skins and electronic systems monitoring points to this aircraft’s youth.
Our EC120B (H120) aircraft are equipped in a standard utility configuration with an extensive list of capability-enhancing additions, including but not limited to:
4 Passengers - 110 MPH - 1000lbs External Lift
The Bell 206 JetRanger, the standard utility light helicopter. This aircraft has been produced in the thousands, and for many years held the title of Safest Single Engine Aircraft in the world. With five seats, one can carry either lots of people, or lots of fuel, or lots of cargo, based on the needs of the mission. This is a legacy model of aircraft, favoured by those clients who wish to keep their helicopter costs as low as possible. Our JetRanger can be equipped with optional fixed-floats, to facilitate safe water-sampling, spill mitigation, waterfowl surveys, etc.
